I do the work on a staging site (if possible), test everything, update you on progress and make revisions.
4) scheduled launch with rollback
We pick a launch time, back up, deploy, and verify. If something’s off, I roll back all changes right away.

You get a simple handover doc and a 7-day bug-fix window for the scoped work.
